Why You Should Eat High Vibrational Foods

While digging into the vegan vs meat-eater argument I learned some pretty interesting things.  Paired with my own spiritual awakening I’d like to explain why I think a high vibrational diet is beneficial to everyone, not just to reduce animal suffering.  I like to merge science and spirituality anyway I can.  This blog is in no way shaming meat eaters (as I’ve been one my whole life), nor is it to show my support of all vegan activists.  


You may have noticed I like to break down all topics to things that are absolute truths.  The only absolute I have come to know is that everything is energy.  So I’m going to break this down in terms of energy and set aside the polarization tactics to support or shame one side or the other.

High vibrational foods are not only good for physical health but mental and emotional as well.


The ancient Greeks introduced the world to the concept of energy and its effects on humans, animals, plants and health. We’re all connected spiritually by energy, whether we choose to believe it or not. We all form a part of the circle of life, which revolves in a circular motion with no beginning and no end, particularly when it comes to cooking, eating and respecting our food and where it comes from.


You can raise consciousness by what you eat!


A high vibrational diet consists of foods that are ALIVE and that positively benefit your being, as well as the planet as a whole. High vibration means having more light, and thus less density.  Plants exemplify this by photosynthesizing light into energy. Humanity is awakening to its connection to Source and its ability to turn infinite accessible light into physical energy.

When eating fresh organic fruits and vegetables off the tree, the vibrational energy benefit of the food is high and rich in nutrients from the sun.  Foods with high vibrational energy and nutrients include organic nuts, fruit, vegetables and fresh herbs. Keep to a minimum foods such as meat, poultry and sugar, and foods that are highly processed, microwaved, chemically altered, genetically altered (GMO), contain chemical additives or have been mistreated by a person.

One of the most important keys to raising your vibration through diet are the thoughts you create around it. Thoughts are vibration. Be kind to yourself and be aware of judgments you hold against yourself and other people’s dietary choices.  The ancients knew this.  It is the basis for why people pray before eating.  Speaking blessings to our food raise its vibrational energy. 



Below is a summary of high- and low-energy foods:

High

  • Fresh, certified organic fruits and vegetables

  • Natural supplements, like spirulina

  • Herbal Teas

  • Herbs and spices

  • Pure or filtered water — reverse osmosis or freshly collected spring water are the best choices

  • Healthy oils, like olive oil and coconut oil

  • Nuts and seeds

  • Fermented foods

  • Raw chocolate

  • Raw honey and maple syrup

  • Legumes

  • Grains such as buckwheat, brown rice, amaranth, and spelt

Low

  • Genetically modified (GMO) food, and conventional food that’s been treated with chemicals and pesticides

  • White rice and flours

  • Sugars, sweeteners (artificial etc.)

  • Coffee

  • Sodas

  • Alcohol

  • Meat, fish and poultry

  • Processed, packaged, canned and fast foods

  • Unhealthy oils, like canola, cottonseed, margarine, and vegetable oils

  • Frozen foods

  • Pasteurized cows milk, yogurt and cheese

  • Cooked foods, deep-fried foods and microwaving food
